Hello World,

Understanding relationships between planetary-scale environmental changes and biological adaptation toward them has significant impacts on our survival strategies.  The long-term goal of my research is to elucidate mechanisms of molecular and biological adaptation and to predict the future form of organisms through structural, developmental, and ecological viewpoints. My current research focuses on structural and functional studies of mechanisms of receptors that transfer information from the outside to the inside of cells and vise versa. The target receptors include dUTPase and olfactory receptors.
